What is IT all about?

NCTS pushes your limits across weapons, gear, and mindset, consistently challenging you to grow in every aspect of preparedness. We provide a broad toolbox of skills, techniques, and practical guidance, helping you explore and discover what works best for your individual needs and long-term goals. Our emphasis is on building a strong foundation in thoughtful, deliberate shooting through steady, practical training and repetition. These training days are open to anyone who’s hungry to improve and eager to compete.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be asked to push your comfort zone and compete against yourself while covering multiple aspects of shooting. Everyone will take part in running the clock, calling targets during stages, and performing cleanup duties.

Needed Kit

Necessary Gear / Equipment (subject to change by day)

  • Pistol with holster; rifle with sling

  • Two magazines per weapon, plus magazine retention

  • Eye and ear protection (mandatory)

  • Ammunition: 250 rifle rounds and 250 pistol rounds

  • Food and water for the day

  • Appropriate footwear and clothing for the range

Notes: This is a general gear list. Some days will require more or less equipment. Gear rotation occurs monthly to share items among participants.

  • 8:00–9:00 AM: Arrival and sign‑in

  • 8:00–9:00 AM: Coffee and biscuits; final kit checks and confirmations

  • 9:00 AM: Training session begins

  • After training: Community clean‑up and social time for camaraderie
